Subject: Step 3 Week 3- Made a Decision to Let Go of The Trapeze

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO LET GO OF THE TRAPEZE?

 Listen to this!

HERE ARE YOUR QUESTIONS FOR THE WEEK  (download fillable doc HERE)

  1. What does it mean to you to turn your “will” over to God?”

  2. What does it mean to turn your “life” over to God? How is it different/similar to your will? Have you ever tried this before? If you have never had a “spiritual awakening” or for us Christians, came to believe in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, now would be a good time. It’s simple, you just pray and ask.  Write down what your thoughts and experience was when you did this.

  3. Many people “come to believe” but they don’t really turn over their will and lives? It’s like someone who believes their partner can catch them on the other side of the trapeze but they don’t dare let go. Do you believe that God is on the other side of your life’s trapeze?

  4. What feelings do you have when you think of letting go of that “thing” that you are trying to change?

  5. What negative/toxic thoughts are preventing you from remaining consistent

  6. What scriptures would help you to overcome these negative thoughts (just google the word or feeling that you are thinking and put bible or scripture and the verses will come up)

  7. What are you going to do different this week than you did last week to move toward your goal.

THE CHALLENGE- (from my book April 9)

Letting go. What holds us back from moving forward. The trapeze artist would not be an artist if they never let go of the trapeze. We get where we need to go in our recovery by letting go of the things that hold us back. For me letting go is always about expectations of how things should be so I have to let go of the "dream" that isn't turning out how I want, or at least not in my time. ...LISTEN TO THE REST...CLICK THE PICTURE TO HEAR US READ IT
