FREE SOFTWARE COURSES for HOME EDUCATORS

Unlike our generation, who grew up without pc’s, ipods and smartphones, our children are living in a digital age and they need skills to survive and THRIVE in the information age. That’s why we started listing Homeschool Technology Programmes on our website.

Below is a fantastic free offer for home educated kids to learn about software and web development from Webucator:

"My name is Bob and I'm in charge of community outreach for my company, Webucator. I'm writing to let you know about a new free program we have for homeschooling kids.

The CEO of my company, Webucator, is beginning to homeschool his 7th grade daughter next year. In searching for curriculum, he couldn't find a lot of great free online software and web development courses.
As Webucator specializes in this kind of training in the corporate world, we know how valuable these skills are. So, we've decided to make all of our self-paced courses available for free to homeschoolers.
This includes courses on web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), Photoshop, Dreamweaver and many others. Here's a link to our blog announcement.

If you think your website visitors would be interested in these courses, please let them know about it. You can paste the coupon code right on your site. To register for a course, all they need to do is:
1. Go to our Self-paced Courses page.
2. Browse through the courses.
3. Click the Order Now button next to the course.
4. Enter HOMESCHOOL for the Coupon Code and click Validate Coupon.
5. Complete the registration.
6. For any registration questions, simply email: homeschool@webucator.com.

That's all there is to it. As I said, the courses are self-paced, so students will need to have some discipline to get through them, but one of the great things about homeschooling is that it helps kids develop this kind of discipline. So, we're hopeful that our courses will help kids develop much needed skills in the workplace. Plus, a lot of this stuff is just fun to learn!

When you share this with your website visitors, please let them know why you think it's important for kids to learn technical skills like programming and web development.

Thanks so much! Let me know if you have any questions or want more information.

Bob

Quote
"The assumption seems to be that by educating our children at home and letting them pursue their own interests, we are limiting their choices and perhaps even depriving them. The only honest answer is, Of course we are. But then, that’s true of every choice a parent makes: no matter what we choose for our children, we are by default not choosing
something else." ~ Ben Hewitt
