The VacuForge™ XL 24-inch press is a fresh take on membrane vacuum forming, built for makers who form holsters and sheaths day in and day out. Its 16" x 24" work area gives you room for full-size pistol holsters, long-slide and optic-ready pieces, and multiple smaller items in a single pull. Made in the USA by CKK Industries.

It was designed for forming custom holsters and knife sheaths from KYDEX®, HOLSTEX®, Boltaron®, and ABS, and it also handles cosplay, orthotics, and small-scale prototyping.

BUILT FOR PRODUCTION DAYS

🔸One-piece base. The base is precision machined from one solid piece, so it will not warp over time. Unlike presses built from wood or laminates, it is crack resistant and leak-proof.

🔸Pinch-retention membrane. A high-heat membrane is held to the lid with a pinch retention design that is secure and quick to change. The membrane seals on a raised edge around the vacuum chamber, with no gasket needed.

🔸Magnet-anchored lid. The lid closes and stays put before the initial drawdown, so you can work with your hands free and your attention on the sheet.

🔸Removable heat-sink board. A specially formed, customizable heat-sink board sits over the vacuum grid base so the press can handle repeated, back-to-back forming sessions, which matters when you are running a batch of holsters.

🔸Plug-and-play plumbing. Connect your existing vacuum pump to the 1/4 inch intake nipple and turn it on. The design needs very little air volume, so drawdown is smooth and quick, and the integrated plumbing holds a vacuum for extended periods.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Heat your KYDEX®, HOLSTEX®, Boltaron®, or leather to 300-375°F, depending on the material and your oven.
2. Wrap the heated sheet around your pistol, knife, or light.
3. Place it in the press and close the lid until the magnets hold it.
4. Turn on your vacuum pump and let the material draw down and cool.
5. Remove the formed piece and move on to finishing.
