Here's the latest edition of "Deconstructed Hits"
"What's the difference between Deconstructed Hits and What Makes This Song A Hit?" you might be asking?
Deconstructed Hits is just for classic songs and ones where I've managed to get some isolated tracks so we can hear inside the mix.
On this one we'll be looking at Madonna's "Lucky Star."
Why pick that song, you might be asking?
Because I happened to hear it recently and I was amazed that it had several different choruses (not just the same on repeated). In fact, it has a song form that's totally unique and one worth checking out.
Not only that, but it has doubled high-hats. When's the last time you heard that (probably never)?
