Recently member Phil Allen sent me an email with an idea.
I think your club members would be absolutely delighted if one of their songs was chosen to be ‘deconstructed’ by yourself. The other members would also get a boost because they will see first hand what can be done by following your teachings.You would have full insight as to how the song was recorded and mixed and the creator could reveal exactly how they did it.
I think this is an excellent idea and so I've just posted the debut episode of Let's Deconstruct Your Hit.
Every month I'll take a song that was so well made that I don't have much to critique, and deconstruct it instead. The deconstruction will also include an interview with the artist/producer/mixer telling us all the details about how it was made
The very first one is from Tony Vincent called "Starting Over," and I have to say, it's a song that I really like that I can't get out of my head.
