| Around this time is also when the year seems to disappear.
For your business, you're about to get into Q4. There are a few things to think about during Q4, so let's dig in. Check in with 2026 goals and make final adjustments to your efforts. You probably had goals for this year - either written or just in your mind. This is the perfect time to check in with how you're progressing on them, and adjustment your marketing efforts or workflow to help you meet them.
Make any investments that you want to write off in your taxes. Workshops, gear, outsourced services, events... anything that is related to your business can be written off in your taxes, as long as the transaction is before Jan. 1st. Now's the time to see what you want to invest in before the year's end. (Our upcoming retreat is a perfect write-off! Learn more.)
Set aside some time to look ahead. This is a great one to do during the holidays. Set aside some time to plan your 2027. Dream big, set your priorities, and define some milestones to help you get there. And don't forget to set some personal goals, too!
Acknowledge your wins and learn from your mistakes. You worked hard this year, and it's time to acknowledge it all! Celebrate the wins (even small), and take note of any mistakes along the way.
Four key questions to ask yourself: What accomplishments happened? What was the biggest one? What lessons were learned? What was the biggest one? What are you ready to let go of in this year? What do you want to create in the next year? What’s next?
