New Standout Products!

Solutions Cultured Sheep Milk

We're proud to bring in another unique product from Solutions; a raw cultured sheep milk! We love the Solutions brand, which was founded by some of our favorite pet industry folks! Sheep milk is high in healthy fats and protein, and great for pets that need to gain weight or aren't eating much. It's super creamy, making it an excellent option picky eaters! If they already love the goats milk, try adding in the sheep milk to their rotation to increase their microbiome biodiversity (we recommend feeding less of the sheep milk since it is creamier). Come on by with your pet to try a sample in store or take one home for your kitties to try!

Smallbatch Perfectly Cooked Cat Food

Good news for kitties that have sensitive tummies, are picky eaters, or for those that would never transition to raw food! Smallbatch has come out with a "perfectly" cooked version of their raw sliders. It comes in three flavors; Chicken, Turkey, and Beef. These sliders are a fully cooked, complete and balanced diet, heated low and slow via sous vide to 165 F. This is a great option for those kitties that stopped eating raw poultry due to Avian Flu concerns.

Smallbatch Perfectly Cooked sliders are easier to feed than canned food! They contain 98% meat, organ, & bones- with more intact nutrients, moisture, and no preservatives, thickeners, or synthetic ingredients! They have a soft, pate-like texture that kitties love. Come by to get a free sample to try with your cat!

Snow Leopard Trust Wool Cat Toys

We are so excited to now be carrying wool cat toys from Snow Leopard Trust! "The Snow Leopard Trust aims to better understand the endangered snow leopard, and to protect the cat in partnership with the communities that share its habitat."

Using fair-trade goods and getting involved in the communities where snow leopards live, this organization is working hard to conserve, research, and educate. By buying one of these super cute, hand made in Nepal, all natural wool toys for your kitties, you're supporting some of the rarest and most beautiful big cats in the world. There are also other ways to help support their mission, such as "adopting" a snow leopard, donating directly, or purchasing some of their other products for sale. Check out their organization HERE.

Fall allergies are coming!

Now is a good time to start preparing for the change in seasons! Giving liver support herbs BEFORE allergy season helps to make sure the liver can filter out histamines and prevent histamine build up, which can cause itchy skin and weepy eyes. We highly recommend Animal Essentials Milk Thistle, Detox Blend, or Liver Defense tinctures. These supplements, with the addition of increased fiber and hydration, will help keep your pets' liver healthy.

The Annual Catio Tour

Register today for the 13th Annual Catio Tour:

September 6, 2025

The Catio Tour is a self-guided tour of catios, hosted by Feral Cat Coalition and Bird Alliance of Oregon. This year will feature stops in Lake Oswego, and SE Portland / Milwaukie. You’ll see a variety of catios, chat with the people who built them, and meet the cats who enjoy them (feline attitude permitting)!

"What's a Catio", you say? It's an excellent trend that's catching on, as it allows your indoor kitty access to the sights, sounds and fresh air of the outdoors without the threat of coyotes, loose dogs, traffic, or people who might steal or terrorize your cat. Catios can also prevent fights with other cats, which may injure them or pass along a contagious disease that can cause big vet bills. It also has the excellent benefit of making sure that your cat isn't responsible for killing some of the 2-4 billion birds and 7-20 billion small mammals that are killed by cats in the U.S. alone every year. It certainly is hard to consistently see multiple heartbroken pleas on Next Door to help people find their beloved lost kitties.

Many creative people have built structures, screened in their porches, or created access through the windows to smaller cages or walkways that the cat can use to safely hang out outdoors. Some are simple, some are elaborate, and the Catio Tour is a great way to see a range of clever ideas. This might inspire you to build one yourself, to provide environmental enrichment for your kitties, while avoiding danger. Go check them out!!
