In
this final part of our articles on Neptune we will look at the transits
of Neptune through your chart. First let's remind ourselves what we
mean by a transit. Transits are the area of your life where Neptune is
currently 'transiting' (or passing through).
Neptune is called
the 'spiritualizing pole' because it spiritualizes whatever area of your
life it touches. It does this through a three-step process of:
- Illusion - whereby we experience delusion and the illusory nature of experience at the personality level;
- Disillusionment
- where our fantasies and unrealistic ideals fall away and we have an
opportunity to awaken to the true reality of our spiritual nature and
- Illumination - whereby, as a result of our personal experience, we are awakened to deeper spiritual insight and understanding.

| Which area of my life is Neptune currently transiting?
Neptune is currently at 5º of Pisces. So look to which house in your chart is occupied by Pisces, noticing that it may cover two houses in your chart. Find the house which has 5º of Pisces and that is the area of your life which is currently being transformed by the spiritualizing effects of Neptune.
Because Neptune is such a slow moving planet, only some houses can be transited by Neptune in any one lifetime. So it is also significant to see which house Neptune was in at your birth, and which ones it has transited so far, as an indication of some of the major themes of your personal spiritual journey up to this point!
So let's see where Neptune is currently 'spiritualizing' your life by transit! If Neptune is currently transiting your
1st house you are being awakened to your Self. You may have experiences that are causing you to question who you believe yourself to be. This transit is waking you up to all illusions and false ideas of your Self, so you can go deeper in your experience and connect with the spiritual reality of your existence.
2nd house you are being awakened to your inner resources. You may have experiences that cause you to question what you own, or how you earn a living, and/or ask what is it even all about? Through experience this transit is waking you up to the truth that you have a wealth of spiritual resources within you, and the deep spiritual truth that everything you need is already within.
3rd house you are being awakened to higher mind. You may have experiences that cause you to doubt or question your ability to learn, process information and/or even communicate. Through experience this transit is waking you up to the limitation of lower mind, and the fact that you have access to a higher wisdom beyond words and everyday thinking.
4th house you are being awakened to a deeper sense of connection and true belonging. You may have experiences that cause you to become disillusioned with the ideals of home and family life. Through experience this transit is waking you up to the truth that we are al one human family, and that wherever you go, you carry your home with you, in the form of an open heart.
5th house you are being awakened to your own creative power. You may have experiences that cause you to become disillusioned with pleasure seeking, and activities that are supposed to be fun yet turn out to be shallow and unfulfilling, or pursuing fun just for it's own sake. Through experience this transit is waking you up to your deeper power as a creative being, and how you can express your Soul light into the world through your own creative self-expression.
6th house you are being awakened to the true nature of service. You may have experiences that cause you to become disillusioned with helping others. You may feel exhausted, taken for granted and/or burnt-out at times. Through experience this transit is waking you up to the difference between losing your 'self' in 'servitude', and truly being of service from a place of balanced healthy, well-being within yourself.
7th house you are being awakened to the art of balanced relationship. You may have experiences that cause you to become disillusioned with the idealism of 'conventional' romantic relationships. Through experience this transit is waking you up to the truth of deeper spiritual connection and relationship with yourself, and the spiritual truth that all relationship is a mirror of yourself.
8th house you are being awakened to the true nature of empowerment. You may have experiences with shared resources, taxes, debt, loss or gain, even intimate sexual relationships, that cause you to question the balance of power. Through experience this transit is waking you up to the truth of your own deep innate spiritual power, which is not given to you by anyone. It is ever-present and can never be taken away.
9th house you are being awakened to higher wisdom. You may have experiences with higher learning or education that cause you to question the veracity of conventional 'knowledge'. Through experience this transit is waking you up to the truth of higher knowing and cosmic wisdom that is beyond conceptual thinking and mere 'information', and comes as a deep spiritual 'knowing'.
10th house you are being awakened to your higher spiritual path. You may have experiences that cause you to question your career, status or position in the world. Through experience this transit is waking you up to your higher spiritual path and purpose in life so that your life-path becomes fully aligned with your Soul purpose.
11th house you are being awakened to higher group consciousness. You may have experiences that cause you to question some of the primitive group dynamics that can arise from lower mind whenever people gather in groups. This may lead you to become disillusioned with group and social activities and even your sense of civic duty. Through experience this transit is waking you up to the higher collective consciousness of humanity that can inspire and pull us forward into the evolution of consciousness.
12th house you are being awakened to universal love and compassion. You may have experiences that cause you to become acutely aware of human suffering, and you may become disillusioned with ideas and ideals of love. Through experience this transit is waking you up to the reality of our connectedness, and the truth that you have the power to transform suffering into universal love and compassion through the power of an open heart.
