Grand re-opening of Alnwick Playhouse

Come to the grand re-opening of Alnwick Playhouse and community hub - complete with a cafe, library and visitor information. 

There will be family-friendly events, free drop-in activities, behind-the-scenes tours, film screenings and workshops to ensure there is something for everyone. Please check the website for more information.

Winter at Alnwick Garden

With autumnal colours replaced with touches of winter throughout Alnwick Garden, the structural qualities can now be admired by seeing the ‘bare bones’ of the arbours and table-top trees.

Crab apple pleaching can be admired with its intricate branch weaving and hints of autumn can still be seen in the beech hedging. This is all finished off with subtle adornments to complement the festive season.

First Footing

Collect your tally and explore the museum to discover stories from our local communities over the past 100 years.

Wrap up warm and allow at least an hour to enjoy exploring this unique experience. You are welcome to explore First Footing in your own time.

Twelfth Night Movie Magic

Enjoy this fabulous free screening of a family favourite show. Entertainment for all the family.

The young, not so young and those in between can enjoy this entertaining musical version of a family favourite. Follow the exploits of Shrek and Donkey as they fight against the dastardly plans of Fairy Godmother and Lord Farquaard.

Shaun the Sheep Activity Trail

Lu-La, from the Shaun the Sheep Movie, has been stranded in the forest and needs to charge her communicator so that she can get a message back home to call for rescue! Help Shaun the Sheep with his mission to get Lu-La home before a sinister organisation can capture her!
