Subject: Why don't Lamborghini Advertise on TV?
Lamborghini avoid TV ads because they KNOW that anyone who can afford their cars does not spend time watching TV!
There's a lesson there.
A quote, by an Indian sage, that may seem puzzling says, "Don't do what you want so you can do as you like." The meaning of this, is that we often put short term pleasure ahead of long term gains.
It's the main factor that seperates the wealthy from the poor.
The poor spend everything they have and if there is anything left over they spend that too on some treat.
The wealthy first set aside money for growth and then eke out survival on what is left, often living a poorer lifestyle than the poor until they have grown their wealth and can still set aside money for growth, but now have a greater balance left for their needs.
The poor buy and do what they want; the wealthy buy and do what they need!
It's not just about money, it's how you spend your time and the attitude you have
If you want to be financially secure then you must learn from the above and be prepared to make sacrifices in the short term so that you can "do as you like" in the longer term.
