I always marvel at how birds can fly, soaring and surfing the currents of the wind.

You may just accept "that's what birds do," but take a moment to think just how wonderful it is.

To be able to launch into flight almost instantly at any time and to fly unimpeded wherever the will takes them!

I suppose others must have thought the sane to popularize the expression "Free as a bird".

For me, it's a blessing, just to be able to appreciate this wonder of creation, and although we can never fly like the birds...

We can create our own freedom and we can live a life that is truly, "Free as a bird".
 
All it takes is patience!
