Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening to everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed yesterday’s presentations during Day 1 of the Rigaku Virtual Analytical X-ray Convention.

A few questions came in that I thought I would share with the group.

Are we recording the presentations?

We are only recording the sponsored sessions. There is too much content to record and save to do them all.

Can we get the PowerPoints?

Yes, the PowerPoints will be available after the event. We will contact all registrants to let you know how you can obtain them.

Can we get certificates of participation?

Yes, we will provide certificates on a case-by-case basis if requested. Certificates will require some level of attendance that has not been finalized yet so, if you want one, be sure to attend as many presentations as you can.

Please enjoy the presentations on Channel 1 (XRD), Channel 2 (XRF) and Channel 3 (X-ray Microscopy), and make sure to stop by our Concierge Booth on Channel 4 to say hello, live video chat, and participate in some fun events. We will be announcing upcoming Channel 4 events on the channel itself and via our Rigaku twitter feed (@rigaku, hashtag #RAXC2020), which you can view on the Convention page on our website to keep up to date with what is going on.

The Convention runs through Thursday, August 6. Please check the starting times for each day in the program, as different channels have different starting times. All four channels will be broadcast simultaneously and you can move among the four booths using the channel links.

Again, please note that our three guest presentations--to be given by our sponsors--will all take place on channel 3. This has been updated on the program schedule.
