Join the GIS Quick Consultation Council on January 9th for the next council meeting and discussion!


Hello Friend!


GIS wants to hear your ideas, projects and challenges. The GIS Membership Committee invites you to attend the next Quick Consultation Council meeting on January 9th at 8 AM EST.


The Global Implementation Society is a safe space for people who work in implementation - at any point, be it policy, practice, or research - to share both successes and challenges. In the pursuit of our mission to “Increase awareness of implementation success stories, impact, and lessons learned to generate inclusive practice-based evidence”, the GIS membership committee has instituted a new program - a regular Quick Consultation Council.


We would love to hear what programs you are supporting – what work you are doing.  We want to hear both your achievements and insights, as well as understand challenges.  In fact, this Quick Consultation Council is a great opportunity for you to share an obstacle and receive support and guidance from your peers!

Are you currently facing a challenge and you could use the guidance of a peer/colleague to navigate it? The Quick Consultation Council is for you. 


This is an opportunity to learn about other implementation programs around the world, meet your fellow members and build a community of practice, share your success stories, and share any challenges you are facing with real-life practical suggestions and guidance from your peers. This is a chance for brand-new perspectives, as well as a chance for GIS to highlight you for your hard work.

If you are interested in sharing your ongoing work and/or obstacles with the council, please fill out the brief questionnaire linked below - it should take less than 5 minutes of your time. You have the choice of submitting anonymously should you prefer. These responses will help the us manage the council meeting in a timely manner and allow us to respond to as many people as possible in one hour. As a reminder, the next Quick Consultation Council will be held on January 9, 2025 at 8:00 am EST.
