I am absolutely delighted to release our “Signature Peru, Quito and Galapagos” tour departing 28 September, 2027 for 18 days.
This spectacular adventure will begin when we depart Australia for Lima, Peru for 2 nights before travelling first to Cusco and then on to The Sacred Valley of the Incas to visit the ancient city of Machu Picchu, a highlight and bucket list item for many. Some of the other cities and sites visited will include Ollantaytambo, Sacsayhuaman, Cusco, Pisac, Maras, Moray, Quito (Ecuador), The Equator, Cotopaxi National Park and Guayaquil.
Notes and things to consider before you book: This trip spends time at altitudes of up to 3,400m above sea level and as such you should seek advice from your GP or a travel doctor with regards to the risks associated to you and how to manage the altitude. Cusco – 3400m: Sacred Valley – 2800m: Aguas Calientes – 2050m: Machu Picchu – 2400m.
A note from our supplier: Please note the way the itinerary is designed for Peru altitude issues should be reduced. On arrival in Cusco we take the group straight to Sacred Valley which is lower (to acclimatise) than Cusco and Machu Picchu.
When our Peru and Ecuador adventure comes to an end, our 4 day Galapagos Adventure begins!! We will fly from Quito to San Cristobal in the Galapagos Islands where we will meet our naturalist guide and transfer to our private charter trimaran, Horizon* for the start of our journey into the Galapagos with its most wonderful wildlife.
During our voyage we will visit several islands in the archipelago where we’ll go in search of such unusual creatures as Blue-footed boobies, Nazca Boobies, Sally Lightfoot Crabs, Black Necked Stilts, Frigatebirds as well as turtles, rays, sea lions, flamingos and iguanas. Beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters are ours to explore by kayak or in the water swimming or snorkelling. Magnificent rock formations are there for the viewing as we make our way on the water by zodiacs. Our Galapagos experience concludes in Baltra before our flight to Guayaquil on the mainland where we overnight before our journey home.
*Please note that for this voyage there will be no single cabins available for our 4D/3N stay on Horizon and all guests will be required to twin share.
I have chosen Horizon for several reasons, one being that all cabins are above the water line and another being that all cabins are the same size ie., 312ft2 with panoramic windows and private balcony. You can however take the single option for the land component of the trip.
Cost per person twin share is $16,667pp# ex Brisbane in economy including approximate airline taxes of $500.
#Please note that as actual airfares are outside of range until the end of October 2026, indicative costs have been included to allow us to release the trip now. Should actual fares exceed the allowed fares we will notify everyone at that time and may need to increase the fare accordingly.
Single supplement – Land Only - $2,000
Departures from other capital cities are welcomed and subject to availability and may incur additional costs. You may also choose to upgrade to business class subject to availability at an additional cost.
Maximum persons in our group will be 16 including myself, your tour escort.
Price includes economy International airfares from Australia and within South America, domestic fares within South America, all accommodation, breakfast daily and other meals where stated, tours with professional English speaking guides, airport transfers where stated, entrance fees and local taxes including National Park fee Galapagos, 4 day Galapagos private charter cruise** onboard luxury trimaran, Horizon.
**Should we not fill all cabins on the vessel, the charter company reserves the right to sell any unsold berths.
