Hi Friend and welcome to the first edition of 'Secret Women's Business' for 2025.
Last year was an amazing year of both domestic and international tours with more than 100 ladies joining me on one or more of our wonderful adventures. Places we explored in 2024 included: - Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam
- New Zealand North Island
- Kenya and Tanzania
- The Gulf Savannah Way
- Southern NSW and ACT Silos
- The Kimberley
- Tasmania
New friendships were formed and past travellers were keen to catch up with ladies they had travelled with before on previous trips. For many ladies, this was their first overseas adventure but I'm sure it won't be their last.
Travel with like-minded women and the camaraderie that is present, can help build or restore confidence.
2025 marks the 21st year of operation for Girls On Tour in the women-only travel industry and we plan to make it a great one with these amazing tours this year: - Treasures of Tasmania
- Wild Antarctica & A Taste of Argentina
- UK and Republic of Ireland
- Spain, Portugal and Morocco
- Margaret River and Wave Rock to Esperance Wilderness Discovery
- The Five Golden Stans
- Autumn in Japan
- plus a soon to be released short tour in NSW called 'Ancient Landscapes & Outback Secrets' from Broken Hill to Sydney.
Most of these trips are already 'sold out' with places now only available on Tasmania and The Five Golden Stans so it's going to be a bumper year!
It's now time to start planning 2026 and we've got some great tours in the pipeline so if you're planning on travelling in 2026 and would like to do that with our small group, women-only tours, keep an eye out on what's coming soon.
As previously mentioned, this year marks 21 years since I created Girls On Tour and during that time we've visited over 60 countries on all 7 continents. None of that would have been possible without the inspirational ladies that choose to travel with us and the close working relationship I have with Lynne @ Suncity Travel and Sue @ Sue McPherson Tours and Travel and the ladies who stepped up when I needed you most. You know who you are.
Most of all to my husband of almost 48 years, Ray, who patiently waits at home. You gave me wings to fly.
To all of you, I am forever grateful for your support and look forward to many more adventures to come!
As 2026 tours are locked in we'll release the details and call for expressions of interest (EOI). Once trips are open for bookings, those who have registered their EOI will have first option to book. Remember, numbers are limited on all tours and are sold on a first come basis.
I look forward to sharing these interesting and exciting destinations with you all in 2025 and 2026.
I'm so very grateful for your continued support.
Happy Travels! Judy xx |

| | | New entry requirements for UK The UK is introducing Electronic Travel Authorisations (ETAs) for all visitors to the UK.
From 8 January 2025, Australians who don't currently need a visa for short stays or don't already have a UK immigration status will need an ETA to travel to the UK. You can apply in advance starting 27 November.
An ETA permits multiple visits to the UK for stays of up to 6 months at a time over 2 years or until the holder's passport expires, whichever is sooner.
An ETA does not guarantee entry to the UK. See 'Apply for an electronic travel authorisation (ETA).' https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta
At the moment, the cost for the ETA is GBP10.

| | | | Smart Phone Tips If using your smart phone is daunting to you, you might want to check out the books that are available especially with seniors in mind. There are a few on the market such as the one shown here and another that I'm aware of is "iPhone for Seniors in Easy Steps: 8th Edition" by Nick Vandome.
These are available online and in bookstores and can be a great resource.

| | Did you know? That since August 2023 when entering New Zealand, that you must complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration Form (NZTD) before passport control on arrival? You need to answer questions about your trip and what you’re bringing into the country. You can complete it online or by using the NZTD app, there's no cost. https://www.travellerdeclaration.govt.nz/

| | 12 Biggest Trends Changing Travel in 2025 I'm absolutely delighted to be included in this online article from Stockhead outlining the "12 Biggest Trends Changing Travel in 2025". I truly believe, hand on heart, that I was the first 'women-only' tour operator in Australia when I began Girls On Tour in 2004, so it's wonderful to be recognised as a 'trend setter' after 20 years in the industry and I'm very grateful for the mention. https://stockhead.com.au/aftermarket/the-12-biggest-trends-changing-travel-in-2025/
