The Grand Egyptian Museum - GEM

Taking over 30 years to become a reality, the GEM is Egypt's gift to the world and the largest global museum dedicated to Ancient Egyptian Civilisation from pre history to the end of the Greek and Roman periods. Located on an area close to the Giza Plateau, it is one of the largest museums in the world.

We will visit on a Wednesday to allow you maximum time to explore with the late night closure at 9pm. We will also allow a free day at the end of the tour should you wish to return to the museum for another visit.

Museum highlights include:

The Grand Hall with it's colossal statues,
The Grand Stairs featuring Kings and Queens
Tutankhamun Gallery and treasures
Khufu's Boat Gallery including the Solar Barge previously housed out by the Pyramids.
