Our May Donation Drive is for DOVE RECOVERY HOUSE which is the largest recovery housing program for women in Marion County. Dove House serves 40 women each night and more than 80 women annually. They help the most vulnerable women in our community—women who have experienced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse; women who have experienced homelessness; women who are struggling with substance use disorder and have nowhere else to turn. What even further distinguishes Dove House is that all programming is offered free of charge to clients; it costs $300/week per client, but this cost is completely covered by grants, corporate supporters, and individual donors. Dove Recovery House is committed to empowering women to become substance-free, self-sufficient, and healthy, by providing safe housing, quality programming, and—above all—hope for the future. With 40 beds available, Dove House is the largest transitional housing and recovery program for women in Marion County. For more info: www.doverecoveryhouse.org.
