| Calvary Family News Capturing The Moment

Recently I saw a picture taken during the Pope’s visit to NYC. It was a picture of about 20 people doing their best to take a picture of the Pope coming down the street. What drew my attention to the picture was an elderly lady resting on the barricade just enjoying the moment and taking in the whole experience .
Psalm 118:24 - This is the day the Lord has made, We will rejoice and be glad in it.
We all want to capture moments with our phones and remember it forever. Our phones die and I have heard horror stories of people losing their data. When moments are happening around us let’s take time to enjoy those moments, to touch and feel and experience these days the Lord has made. What we experience in our hearts will outlast a picture.
Don’t just capture the moment BE in the moment.

Experience this inspiring and challenging movie/teaching series this fall at Calvary!
For 4 weeks, an introduction will be shared in the Sunday service, and home groups will complete the segment during the week.
Each family will need to sign-up (in the lobby) for a House 2 House group by October 11. The series will begin on October 11 and end with a Movie Night on Friday, November 6th at 7PM in the Sanctuary. Invite your friends! |
