| When our confidence is in ourselves, our results are limited to what we alone can accomplish. Even the highest level of human competence, wisdom, and experience pales in comparison to God’s.
When our confidence is in God, we can experience God-sized, God-shaped results. As we admit our need for His intervention and ask Him to equip us to accomplish what lies before us, He does what only He can do.
Where do you need to abandon self-confidence and exchange it for God-confidence?
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. - Proverbs 3:5-6
Prayer: Lord, we confess that far too often we limit Your ability to work in and through us by trusting in ourselves instead of placing our trust in You. Forgive us. We place all our trust in You, we submit ourselves to You, and we look to You in Jesus’ name, amen.
