GEA - Constangy Monthly Update Series

March 26, 2024

11:00 AM

Topic: “Back to Basics Under Biden: Avoiding and Handling OSHA Inspection and Citations.”

After focusing on COVID for the last several years, OSHA is finally getting back to its traditional enforcement role, but with a vengeance under the Biden Administration (i.e., significantly higher penalties).  The fact that federal OSHA is headed by a former Cal/OSHA Chief won’t help matters for those employers who end up in OSHA’s cross hairs.

Presenter: -

David Smith

Partner - Constangy Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP

Atlanta Office

David's practice involves providing compliance advice to employers on federal and state occupational safety and health requirements and assisting employers with the development and implementation of safety and health programs and policies, including both general and DOT-required drug testing policies.
