This GEA Newsletter will be focusing on training programs we are scheduling for the first half of 2019.  Please review this information and visit the GEA website for more information as we complete our training schedule.
We are partnering with Keiko Humphries group to present our most popular training series which has been expanded to a six day workshop focused on the practical skills and tools Team Leaders, Lead People, and Supervisors need to succeed in the complex business environment.  

The GEA Leadership series will be held at the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins for the Spring 2019 series.  This year the series has been expanded to a six day multi-module series.  The dates of the series are as follows:

Session 1:  February 20, 2019      
Session 3:  April 24, 2019             
Session 4:  May 22, 2019              
Session 5:  June 19, 2019              
Session 6:  July 17, 2019  
*All workshops will be head in the Eagle Conference Room at the Museum of        Aviation in Warner Robins, GA, unless otherwise noted.
* All workshops times are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

This program is designed as an independent session or module.  If an individual is not able to attend all sessions, these other sessions can be attended in the future.

Cost:    GEA Members - $315.00
            Non-Members - $360.00
*Discounts are offered to organizations sending five or more people to any workshop.

This program is designed for those individuals who would like to enter the HR profession or have been hired in an HR capacity and would like to fast track their career growth by proving a foundational knowledge of Human Resources.

Eligibility for the course and exam is a high school diploma or GED.  HR experience is not required as this is a knowledge-based credential.  The cost GEA's four week preparaton course, including the complete course materials and class based training for the aPHR exam.

All classes will be held in the Fickling Building in downtown Macon in the Cherry Blossom Conference room on the 16th floor.  Class times are from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Cost for the course is:

GEA Members:                 $1250.00
Non-Members:                  $1550.00

Registration will open next week for the GEA 2019 Spring Conference which will be held at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa beginning with the annual golf outing on Sunday, March 31st.  On Monday, April 1st, we have scheduled a slate of great speakers with the focus on Workforce Development and Legal Reviews through Tuesday, April 2nd, mid-day.
