Overview

What would be the impact of a prolonged period of health related struggles on your family, income, personal assets and investments? You cannot fully assess the impact unless you understand the costs of long term care.

An unfunded or underfunded long term care event can do irreparable harm to your family’s plans, investment performance, current and future income and overall financial plan going forward. There is also the emotional, mental and physical stress that long term care can put on family relationships. Without a plan, long term care is almost always provided by a person’s family.

In the webinar, you’ll learn the answers to these questions and more…
  • What is long term care?
  • What is the cost of long term care?
  • Why consider long term care planning for yourself and your employees?
  • Who or what pays for long term care expenses?
  • What are some reasons why business owners and employees have NOT planned for long term care?
  • Who are ideal candidates for long term care planning?

What educational and enrollment support can employers expect from us when they decide offer long term care as an Employee Benefit?

Corey Rieck is the President and Founder of The Long Term Care Planning Group, a firm that specializes in delivering Long Term Care education and coverage to companies, high net worth individuals and large organizations. Since 2001, Corey has devoted his career to Long Term Care. This decision was influenced by witnessing firsthand what happens to a family member with poor health and no Long Term Care insurance. Corey’s mother, in her late forties, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and rendered uninsurable.

Corey earned a BBA from the University of Iowa in 1987 and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1990. Prior to founding The Long Term Care Planning Group, he had a successful sales career in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Corey began his career in the insurance business as a financial planning service professional, where he learned many lessons about the effect that an unfunded Long Term Care event can have on family relationships and personal wealth.
