FRESH New London
Dear Friends,

A wise person once said: "When the going gets tough, the Tough Get Online!"

Ok, no one ever said that.... But, more than a month into Compassionate Distancing, FRESH is getting creative to connect in virtual spaces instead of physical spaces.

We usually have three big events in April. The Spring Break Program with teenagers (which was suppose to be this week), the Food Justice Workshop that opens the Community Gardens and the Early Plant Sale!

Of course, none of those can happen the way they used to.

We had to cancel the Spring Break Program with young people but we are moving forward with the other two and you are invited to participate!

Our Early Plant Sale opens tomorrow for online ordering. Customers can make an appointment next week for contact-less pick ups at the FRESH Urban Farm. We can offer a limited number of curbside delivery to customers who are unable to go out or who do not have transportation. See below for the link to follow to order!

The Food Justice Workshop has moved online! We are Zooming! See the flyer below and email info@freshnewlondon.org for the log in information if you want to join us!

While we aren't in the office or meeting face to face as staff, we have a mighty text chain and weekly zoom meetings too. So we are adjusting to this new reality and still managing to get alot done. See a collage of FRESH staff selfies (its worth getting all the way to the end of the email just for that!

Stay Healthy! Stay Connected!
