Tom Cruise Probably doesn't care
that my schedule was maxed out and I missed the fact that he did a Jack Reacher movie.
One auspicious day, my sister-in-law dropped off a box of books. I eventually found the two Lee Child books and instantly became a Lee Child -- Jack Reacher fan. Within a few months, I read every book in the series. And discovered, that though Tom wasn't who I imagined Jack to be ... he did a great job.
The point of all this is .... SERIES SELL. And depending on how many books you have in your series ... they can make you a nice tidy sum all from one avid reader, who then goes on to tell others ...
