Subject: COVID-19- Relief for the Most Vulnerable

HOW WE ARE RESPONDING IN THIS CRISIS
As we all are making drastic changes in our personal and business lives,
these changes are even greater and more life altering for those who are homeless or
at risk of being homeless.

We, at Family Promise of Butler County are working hard to provide services to children and families in shelter. As our churches are, understandably, closing their doors in an attempt to protect their congregations, we must use our financial resources to house families in motel rooms and provide them with meals and essential items. In addition, FPBC is extending our outreach to families who have graduated from our program. We are checking in weekly with these graduates to help assess their needs. Many need help with food and personal care items, as their incomes have shrunk due to work layoffs and decreased hours. As this pandemic stretches further out, the needs will continue to increase, and we want to be ready to help in as many ways as we can.

Please watch this video to gain a better understanding of what children and families who are homeless are facing during this unprecedented time.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
In order to continue helping children and families who at risk, we must join together as a community. Over the next week we have partnered with Family Promise National for the Emergency Corona Virus Relief Campaign. Join us from today through April 1st in raising funds to bring relief to those who are most vulnerable. Please click the link below to make your donation. Also, please make sure to designate Family Promise of Butler County.
We encourage you to share this information with as many as possible. It takes a village to make a difference and to ensure that Every Child Has a Home.

Thank you for your support during this time!
