Happy Friday, Friend,
You know how when you rearrange a room it feels fresh and exciting… until you actually need to find something?
That’s us right now.
We moved things.
We organized things.
We labeled things.
And now?
I can’t find anything.
There is a very strong possibility I personally relocated the ruler base into a “very logical spot” that apparently only exists in my imagination.
But that’s not even the headline today.
Let’s talk about the new girl.
Our beautiful new Handi Quilter Infinity 28 has officially been initiated into Fox Country Quilts.
And guess who performed the ceremony?
Me.
I gave her her first test drive.
She purred.
She glided.
She stitched like a dream.
And then…
SNAP.
I broke the needle.
Now before anyone panics, let me explain. Apparently the needle screw wasn’t tightened quite enough, so the needle dipped just enough to kiss the hook. Just a tiny hello.
No timing damage.
No drama.
No mechanical trauma.
Just one sacrificial needle.
And I stood there thinking, “Well. That didn’t take long.”
But here’s the good news: that Infinity 28 is one strong girl. 💪 She didn’t flinch. Didn’t skip a beat. Didn’t lose her composure.
She has now been properly welcomed into the shop.
Around here, if a machine survives Donna’s first test drive, she’s officially family.
So yes… she’s ready.
Ready for test drives.
Ready for renters.
Ready for you.
And if you come in and can’t find something right away, just know… we probably moved it to a “very sensible location.”
Happy Funny Friday.
Come see the new girl. I promise I’ve tightened the needle screw.
Donna
P.S. If you’ve ever rearranged a sewing space and immediately regretted it, reply and tell me I’m not alone.
