Season's Greetings from FOMR

Thank you for being a donor in 2020!

Your support helped people safely experience the comfort and healing power of Middle River this year.

In 2020, Friends of the Middle River:

Linked people to our local, restorative water venue - Middle River - where they could paddle and relax safely outdoors.
Facilitated successful socially-distanced float trips on Middle River.
Organized 53 volunteers to remove 1.74 tons of trash and 79 tires from 11 miles of Middle River and Lewis Creek.
Completed our 10th year of Benthic Monitoring and began our 6th year of E. coli Monitoring.

In 2021, we look forward to:

Launching our new website! We made good use of our pandemic downtime in 2020 to re-design the website. We hope you will like it.

Resuming more of our in-person gatherings after vaccine rollouts make it safe to gather together again. Until then, we will continue to offer safe, socially-distanced access to the River via float trips and our River Access Program.

During this holiday season, be safe and wear a mask - we're all in this together, and we'll get

through it together.
