Subject: River Access Program, Spring Update

April 7, 2020
Dear River Access Program participant,

Spring is here and I bet you are ready to get out of the house and into your canoes and a kayaks on the Middle River! Since outdoor recreation is currently listed as an “essential activity", continuing your river activities with your immediate family and housemates can be done safely with a little planning and care. As always, please contact the River Access Program landowners before accessing the Middle River, but keep your distance from them when on their property. In order to limit your exposure to the COVID-19 virus please carefully plan your shuttle arrangements ahead of time so that you do not have to ride in any vehicle with people other than your immediate family or housemates.

Also, Friends of Middle River is seeking information to assess the value and usage of our RAP program. We’d love to learn how and how much the program is being utilized. We have a 7-question survey HERE.

You can always call or email us to discuss anything about the program.
