In 2023, our volunteers, members and donors:

• Educated folks of all ages using aqua viewers, touch tanks, and live insects

• Organized a “Harmful Algal Blooms” lecture for the Wayne Theater

• Removed 1.88 tons of trash and 203 tires from 20.3 miles of the Middle River

• Provided river access to over 300 people

• Collected and shared macroinvertebrate river data for the 13^th year

• Collected and shared E. coli data for the 9^th consecutive year

• Updated FOMR safety procedures to ensure river events are safe for participants

• Linked landowners holding over 3000 acres with funding sources for easements and other innovative conservation practices
