Moonlight Middle River Float this weekend!
We're throwing you a last minute chance to paddle Middle River by moonlight! We had to cancel our scheduled Full Moon Float last month, but staff just felt we HAD to get a night float in! So here it is:
This Saturday June 15 10pm-2am Middle River
We have room for up to approximately 22 adventuresome people who want to experience magic. But you've gotta act fast! We will venture out starting at 10pm and paddle a couple of hours down lower Middle River under the full moon.
This is NOT a good float trip for inexperienced paddlers of any age. All kids and adults who sign up should be able to steer and stop their craft, and should feel very comfortable in a canoe or kayak. This is a short, not-too-difficult trip, but night floats are by their nature a bit more disorienting and challenging than day floats.
Bring your own boat, paddle, lifevest and headlamp (required). $10 per person.
