Welcome to FOMR Float Trips, the 2024 version. You are getting this notice based on recent interest you have shown in the FOMR float trips, past participation, or an unsolicited nomination by either Don Kain or Mason Kilbourn, our 2024 FOMR Float Trip chairs. Thank you for your interest and willingness to help!

Unless you ask to be removed from our list, you are now a member of the 2024 FOMR Float Trip Committee. Congratulations!

The first 2024 official float trip will be in May, and we plan trips for each month thereafter, probably until October.

Mason and Don will host a meeting of the FOMR Float Trip Committee on the evening of April 8 (next Monday) or April 11 (Thursday).  We hope you will be able to attend, and ask that you let us know which date works best for you. As soon as we get responses, we will notify you of a location, probably either in Verona or Staunton.

The first meeting will introduce members to our float team concept, identify potential team leaders and support staff, review safety issues, and discuss possible themes and dates for float trips.

We see the FOMR Float trips as fun, educational, and a way to inspire love of the river and all that it gives us.

Please RSVP ASAP to either Don or Mason with your availability to attend the meeting on one of the dates above.
