"Discover Middle River" Week
August 14-21

Splash & Trash River Cleanup

Float sections of Middle River while cleaning debris out of the River
.

All you need are four people and two canoes. 

We can assign you a section of River, or you can tell us which section you want to clean.

You pick the day and time that week, and we'll supply the trash bags, etc.

Photo Contest - We need your River photos!

During Middle River Week (or any other time) take pics of River scenes - wildlife, boating, flowers, fishing, cleanups, etc.  Submit them to us. 
We are making a calendar for 2017 and will include the best photos in the calendar.  We also need photos of scenes taken in the spring, fall, and winter.

Send photos to info@friendsofthemiddleriver.org with your name and where on the River or creek the picture was taken.

Friends Fest Barbecue Picnic and Kayak Raffle
 Sunday, August 21st, along Middle River in Verona.

Drawing for raffle to be on August 21st at Friends Fest Barbecue Picnic.  Tickets available from FOMR Board members or at Wilderness Adventure in Staunton.
