Dear Verona Access Program participants:
Spring
is here and I am sure you are ready to get out of the house and down to
the Middle River! Since outdoor recreation is currently listed as an “essential
activity," continuing your river activities with your immediate family and
housemates can be done safely with a little planning and care. We recommend following the
latest guidelines from the federal, state, and local governments
regarding personal protective equipment and social distancing when
you use the Verona site. If too many people congregate at the site
close together we will have to close it down temporarily.
Also,
Friends of Middle River is seeking information to assess the value and usage of
our site in Verona. We’d love to learn how and how much the program is
being utilized. We have a 6-question survey HERE.
