Designed specifically for rotorcraft, the new Flightcell SmartHUB is a state-of-the-art audio, video and data recording hub, and an enabler for USB/IP powered devices. It interfaces with the new Flightcell Camera, which exceeds FENZ requirements.
The Flightcell SmartHUB and optional Camera have been developed to exceed the FENZ Operational Service Specifications (ATS1201), specifically article 5.1.1 Aircraft Equipment. While the FENZ directive states a cockpit recorder must be installed by 01 November 2021, operators may install at a later date within an agreed grace period if they can prove intent to comply with the FENZ directive (for example by taking up this pre-order offer for the Flightcell SmartHUB and Camera).
