Experience COP 26 in Glasgow as if you were there - Central Africa mobilized in Glasgow.... It is now more than ever time to harvest the fruits of the Fair Deal, the COMIFAC Declaration... We are at an important moment in history for the Central African Forests of the Congo Basin... Let's keep mobilizing at COP 26!

The COMIFAC Congo Basin Initiatives Pavilion is a meeting place, a networking hub and a place of conviviality designed to within the Blue Zone exhibition space. It includes a dedicated space for side events from the countries of the COMIFAC area, partners of the Central African forests of the Congo Basin, an exhibition space aimed at the general public, companies, NGOs and delegates and participants of COP 26. Before 10:00 am the spacewill be reserved exclusively for delegates from the COMIFAC countries. 
 
Located in Hall 4 PV 05 of the Blue Zone Exhibition Hall, the location and size of the COMIFAC - Congo Basin Initiatives Pavilion demonstratethe particular contribution of COMIFAC and its partners CBFP, CAFI, GIZ-COMIFAC, UK; the financial support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the extent of its commitment on the international scene, for the protection of the world's climate and biodiversity.
 
An office is set up in the Blue Zone, D 072 of Hall 3, for bilateral and multilateral VIP meetings.

The COMIFAC-Congo Basin Initiatives Pavilion is also a vector of media coverage of COP 26 and contributes to its regional and international influence in the Congo Basin.
The events of the Congo Basin Initiatives Pavilion will be available via live stream and a large number of events will be translated from English to French and vice versa.
 
 






The Facilitator of the Federal Republic of Germany of the Congo Basin Forest Partnership (CBFP), Honorable Dr. Christian Ruck, wishes the COMIFAC Congo Basin Initiatives Pavillon success and urges for greater mobilization of partners to ensure the successful participation of COMIFAC and its member countries at the COP 26.
