The Australian Standards are there to protect everyone. They establish a code of practice that helps maintain a minimum level of performance and safety. And safety is one thing that can't be overlooked when it comes to the storage of fuel.

AS1940:2017 - The Australian Standards relating to 'Storage and Handling of Flammable and Combustible Liquids' was formally updated in August 2017.

Do you store large volumes of fuel? Could you be affect by these changes?

It is important to note these changes because the standard forms an important reference for our State and Territory fuel storage legislation.
