Subject: COVID-19 - are Czech IVF clinics safe to travel to?


Most patients are resuming their IVF treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic and fertility clinics continue to safely offer treatment for international patients. Check the outline of safety guidelines from chosen Czech clinics.

UNICA Clinic Prague and Brno - Unica clinics are operating as normal and strict COVID-19 safety measures are applied. All areas of the clinic are constantly disinfected and staff and patients are required to wear facemasks. In case of travelling for IVF purposes, we provide all the necessary paperwork, plus a free PCR or Rapid test if needed. Patients can receive support in arranging accommodation and a suitable flight.

Procrea Swiss IVF Center operates fully and accepts international patients. Patients will be asked to fill out a COVID-19 form, wear a mask, and have temperature taken upon entry. Online consultations can be arranged. Patients are free to contact the clinic to receive the latest travel updates and necessary travel documentation. Free COVID-19 PCR test for female patients is included in the IVF treatment package.

Repromeda s.r.o. operates without any significant restrictions. The clinic’s staff and patients are obliged to have airways covered with an FFP2 respirator mask, all interiors are cleaned with air purifiers without ozone formation and are regularly disinfected. The contact between people is minimized. Foreign patients can receive a certificate of planned treatment and support in formalities before arriving to the Czech Republic.

GYNEM Fertility Clinic Prague - all Gynem medical staff has been fully vaccinated by Pfizer vaccine and are tested weekly using antigen tests. Respirator masks and hand disinfection are compulsory in the clinic. International patients from the UK, Europe, or the USA are accepted. Depending on the patient’s home country, they need to follow all necessary regulations. Entry form and a negative PCR/antigene test are required before leaving your home country.

IVF Cube - International patients are accepted and recommended to be COVID-19 tested prior to their treatment. The clinic can carry out an antigen or PCR test for you. At IVF Cube, COVID-19 infection is minimized during your visit. The clinic has introduced a system of employee rotation, a strict hygienic entry regime, and regular spatial disinfection. The staff is regularly tested.
