Friend,

Some time ago, I went to visit a friend and needed to use her bathroom.

Before I went in, she apologized.

She was embarrassed because she hadn't cleaned it in three weeks.

What surprised me was that what I had seen of her house was otherwise very clean.

So I asked her point blank why she hadn't cleaned the bathroom.

Her answer was that she couldn't make the time. 

I suggested she try a different approach to cleaning. She wasn't convinced, but she decided to try it anyway.

When I saw her again months later, she reported a huge change in how she cared for her home. Now her bathroom was always "fairly clean."
