You probably have often felt that you should go for minimalism. After all, it’s everywhere — the neutral palettes, the sleek furniture, the rooms that look almost untouched.
The thing is, life usually requires more than minimalism.
When I first graduated as an architect, I thought that was the only “good taste” there was. My biggest nightmare was to have one of my former teachers call me tacky, or tasteless.
I built my first home with all the restraint my professors had taught me, and friends praised how calm and beautiful it looked.
But here’s the twist: I didn’t agree. My place didn't feel right to me.
Something was missing… something I couldn’t put into words back then.
When I found Feng Shui I started to understand what had happened. That moment nudged me to look at my home — and design — in a new way.
