Recently, one of my former students, whom I trained to become a Feng Shui Consultant, was sharing with me a Feng Shui enhancement she was thinking of recommending for her client.
Her client was going through a major life transition, so my colleague recommended a photograph of a bridge to help her connect her past life with the new life she would have to pivot into after this huge change.
I was impressed by the solution she devised and how perfectly it aligned with her client's needs and expectations. Using bridge imagery for this purpose was a creative approach I had not considered. I shared my admiration for this insightful choice.
She replied, âWell, I have had good training.â
Yes, she has.
At first, when she said that, I felt like replying, Well, you didn't learn this from me, because I wouldn't have thought of that cure.
But then it came to me that really exceptional Feng Shui Training is not about teaching your students to do exactly what you would do. It is about teaching them to come up with their own creative solutions for what their clients need.
