🏠 Are you afraid of making mistakes in your place?

Friend,

There’s a skill to making mistakes.

Most people don’t realize that.

They think the goal is to avoid them — to get things right the first time, whether it’s choosing a color for their walls or making decisions for their family.

But that’s not how life works.

Recently, I made a design mistake in my own home that was much harder to fix than I expected. What surprised me wasn’t just the mistake itself, but what happened because of it.

• A conversation I wasn’t expecting.
• A level of honesty I wasn’t prepared for.
• And a realization about parenting that stayed with me.

This is not really an article about decorating. It’s about what happens after you realize you were wrong.

If you’ve ever struggled with getting things “just right” — in your home or in your life — I think this will resonate with you.
