| Scholarships are important when it comes to paying for college.

There are scholarships for many different things such as need-based & merit-based. Need-Based Scholarships are given based on your financial need which is determined by the college you're applying to & your FAFSA. Merit-Based scholarships are given based on academic achievements such as GPA, extracurricular activities, etc. Some scholarship applications are as simple as entering a few details about yourself while other applications require you to write an essay. You don't have to be a high school senior to apply for scholarships. It's best to apply for as many as you can. |
