Subject: *New Event* Join us for a Revival History Summit!

Remembering God’s working in the past and inspiring vision for the future.

There have been instances in the history of the Church when the telling and retelling of the wonderful works of God have been used to rekindle the expectations of the faithful intercessors and prepare the way for another Awakening.

—J. Edwin Orr

Dear Families,

Throughout history God has been faithful to bring revival to the hearts of His people. Remembering the ways God has worked in the past inspires vision and desire to see Him work similarly in our day.

We are planning a Revival History Summit for January 21–23, 2027, in Big Sandy, Texas. John Van Gelderen will share impactful sessions chronicling the history of God’s moving to stir hearts in the past. Dr. Van Gelderen has spent much of his life studying revival, and he will give us an overview of revival history through the years, including some powerful, specific stories of the Holy Spirit bringing refreshing to believers’ hearts.

Historian and writer John Huffman will also share presentations that will be engaging, historical first-person interpretations. John will depict Saint Patrick, John Hus, Jonathan Edwards, and Daniel Baker, dedicated men who were used of God as instruments of revival.

Besides these special sessions of exhortation and instruction, there will be times of individual and group prayer for immediate application as the Spirit moves. More than just revival history lessons, we invite you to join us for presentations that will stir your heart, build your faith, and motivate you to cry out to God, asking Him to send revival once again!

“I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.”

—Psalm 77:11–12

Save the date of January 21–23 for this special event. We hope you can join us as we remember God’s moving in the past and are inspired with vision of what He may want to do in our day!
