Dear Men, 

“If God can find a praying man, He can shake a nation.” So stated John Nelson Hyde, who also was known as “Praying Hyde.” Praying Hyde was a missionary to India and a man of fervent prayer and sincere dependence on Christ. While earnest in his proclamation of truth, his greatest influence was not in the pulpit but in the prayer closet were he interceded on behalf of souls. John Hyde’s legacy is inseparable from the revivals of northern India.

As we see God moving in the United States and stirring people’s hearts, we, like John Hyde, have the tremendous privilege and responsibility to participate in what God is doing through earnest prayer. Not only is it vitally important to be continuing in persistent personal prayer, but gathering for corporate prayer is powerful as well. In light of this fact, we invite you to join us for a focused time of petitioning the Lord together at the Men’s Autumn Prayer Summit in Watersmeet, MI, October 1–3, 2026.
