Dear Families,

As summer continues with many ministry opportunities like backyard Bible clubs and Vacation Bible School, some people are hoping to travel for retreats or church camps in search of spiritual refreshment. Many families are eagerly anticipating and planning for the September Northwoods Family Conference in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The autumn Northwoods Family Conference is scheduled during the scenic fall season, from September 20–24, and we hope many of you will be able to attend.

Children’s programs and activities seeking to encourage the whole family are planned for this important week. Many children describe the week at the Family Conference as a highlight in their year.

Along with messages from the Big Sandy Family Conferences, we are excited to have many live speakers share with us in September. Speakers include evangelist David Ford and Pastor David York. We will also welcome back Bob Newhouse, Jack Lezza, and Don Courville to share in the sessions. Although we will miss having Keith Daniel there with us, his wife, Jenny, and their son, Roy, will be speaking at the Family Conference.

There is still housing available at the Northwoods Conference Center, so please make plans now to join us September 20–24, 2021. The early registration deadline for this Family Conference is August 20. We look forward to a wonderful time of fellowship around the Word of God as we rejoice and give thanks together!
