Subject: Introducing I Timothy 2:1 Monthly Prayer Calls!

I Timothy 2:1 Prayer Calls

“2:1 on 21”

the 21st of each month

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.”

I Timothy 2:1

Dear Families,

At the end of last year, our staff was challenged to begin 2025 with a focus on prayer. After listening to a clip from a message on prayer by evangelist Caleb Reed, Dr. Tim Levendusky, the president of IBLP, invited employees and their families to take the first 21 days of the year and spend an hour in prayer each day.

After a few days, it was proposed to extend this exciting prayer initiative to others who might want to join us. We sent emails to families across the world and eagerly began to write and prepare emails in anticipation for the beginning of the year! Excitement built as people started registering for this 21-Day Prayer Challenge.

This really helped me to grow in my prayer life and also helped me to start the new year with a different perspective on prayer. . . . My prayer life has changed!!” —2025 Prayer Challenge participant

On January 1, we began the new year by praising the Lord for Who He is! Over the next three weeks, each day had a specific topic to focus on in prayer. At the end of the 21-Day Prayer Challenge, we hosted a prayer call for participants to share what the Lord had done in their lives through the challenge and to encourage one another to continue seeking the Lord through prayer. We are thrilled to announce we are continuing this prayer focus through the monthly I Timothy 2:1 Prayer Calls!

In I Timothy 2:1, we read of the priority God places on prayer in the life of the believer: “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.” In light of this admonition, we invite you to join us for a special monthly prayer initiative that we are calling I Timothy 2:1 Prayer Calls.

On the 21st of every month, families and individuals from across the country and around the world can join these prayer calls. These calls will include a short exhortation on prayer, fellowship, and, most importantly, time to pray together. Just remember “2:1 on 21” and join us for this special time of obeying the Scriptural exhortation found in I Timothy 2:1!

Blessings in Christ,
