Happy New Year! I trust you and your family have enjoyed a wonderful holiday season and are off to a great start this year. I cannot think of a better way to begin the new year than by refocusing your life on the things that matter most—relationships! First and foremost is your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Second to that is your relationship with your family. Especially significant to you is that fathers have an incredibly vital role in the lives of their children.

| In just two weeks, on January 18, the Father and Son Men's Conference will take place. The theme for this conference is “Passing the Torch,” and featured speakers include Gil Bates and Peter Magnuson. When was the last time you intentionally set aside time to focus on becoming a better father? Consider investing in your family by coming for this short weekend, Thursday evening through Saturday night. What better time than early in the year to seek the Lord, fellowship with other men, and be strengthened and challenged in your important relationship with God and with your family? Family Week is designed for families to experience the other side of the ministry by serving alongside our staff in a number of roles. You can begin or end at any time during the week and assist with a variety of work projects around campus, including groundskeeping, maintenance, and housekeeping. What a great way to strengthen your family relationships while ministering to others.
