Dear Families,
We at IBLP are always grateful for the times that we can be together. Prioritizing your health and welfare are of utmost importance whenever we plan our events. As the uncertainty of travel restrictions, meetings, and rates of contagion for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) change daily, we want to assure you of several things.
First, at this time, we are continuing to move forward in planning for our annual Family Conferences. For those who desire to come to Big Sandy and attend the conference in person, we plan to run the April Family Conference as usual. We will conduct this Conference unless other restrictions or later developments indicate that we must postpone or cancel the event. The early registration deadline of March 15 will be extended until April 15, two weeks before the conference start date. This will allow people to benefit from the discount and still have the most current information regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) matters. We also benefit from early registrations which aid us in planning for housing, meals, and programs.
Secondly, we would like to offer another option for participants who are restricted from attending in person. We are planning to have the sessions streamed live online through Embassy Media for the week of April 27-May 2, 2020. Though different than being here in person, we would provide the session live-stream for home viewing and participation.
Yet another option would be to consider re-booking your family to attend the July 27-31 Family Conference. This would enable some time to allow for greater understanding of the spread of the Coronavirus in the US, and be out of the normal flu and cold seasons by summertime. If anyone needs to change their reservations or cancel, they can do that with no cancellation fee.
Thank you for the many ways in which you have participated with us in the past, and we trust that the changes we are announcing will help you better plan for your family’s needs and schedule. In summary, we care about you and your family and will do all we can to protect you physically while we minister to you spiritually through the upcoming Family Conferences.
