Dear Families,

Over the past several years, the United States has become a different place. Social and political challenges abound, and hope is diminishing. Many people are discouraged with where the nation is now, but how ought we as believers to respond?

In this November Message of the Month, Pastor Jim Schettler shares the context and instructions surrounding one of the most popular verses in Scripture, Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

This promise was given to the nation of Israel as it went into seventy years of captivity, but the principles in this passage can be applied to the Church in America and around the world today.
