| Getting Out of the Comfort Zone
"Team Time creates an environment for families to naturally make new acquaintances (and even friendships!) in the crowd, as they step outside the comfort zone of established friends while still enjoying the support and guidance of immediate family (which is especially important for the younger ones). As the team pulls together toward a shared goal, each member can learn how to offer their unique strengths - and encourage their teammates to do so. Coming to Family Camp for the 1st time in 2025 (and the only one in my family able to attend), I hardly knew anyone, which can be intimidating. Though the entire Family Camp was welcoming and uplifting, Team Time helped meet the human need for relationships...
